Seánie Griffin is a PhD researcher within the MD3 work package of ESIPP: "Weather as an Energy Systems Driver". Seanie completed a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from University College Cork and MSc Applied Meteorology from University of Reading. He also worked as an in-house meteorologist at StarLizard Consulting in London for 2 years. He joined ESIPP in September 2016, under the supervision of Dr. Conor Sweeney. His research will aim to develop high-resolution ensemble forecast methods that help to quantify weather-based uncertainty which impacts upon integrated energy systems.
