Working Together for a Low Carbon Future

PhD Researcher
Ran Li is a PhD Electrical and Electronic Engineering student in UCD, supervised by Dr Damian Flynn, with the research topic ‘Evaluating Power System Flexibility Needs with Stochastic Unit Commitment Models’. Before joining ESIPP, he finished MSc Financial Mathematics with distinction degree in King’s College London, UK, prior to which he serves as a data analyst in China Merchants Bank, China. He holds a BSc Applied Mathematics from Central University of Finance and Economics in China. His research would rely on mathematical modelling for power system.
