Working Together for a Low Carbon Future

PhD Researcher
Francesca graduated in Control Systems Engineering with both M.E. and B.E. at University of Naples Federico II, Italy. Her master thesis title was "A model-based approach to HVAC fault detection and diagnosis" and it was developed at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Before returning to academic for her Ph.D. in 2014, she worked as Account Manager for Texas Instruments, gaining experience in the industrial sector. In 2016 she had a work placement in EirGrid, the Irish transmission system operator. She is currently a Ph.D. researcher under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Keane. Her main research interests include stochastic modeling, mid-term stability analysis and control, and optimal power flow.
